CM-031 Conductivity Meter

The CM-031 Conductivity Meter is a dipole electromagnetic instrument designed for fast and accurate geophysical survey.

The two parameters are measured simultaneously - the apparent conductivity (mS/m) for measurements of changes in ground conductivity, and the in-phase component of the induced magnetic field, which permits the detection of buried metal objects. Both measured values are continuously displayed on the graphic screen during the measurement and saved in the internal memory (after the operator's confirmation).

The digital design of the instrument provides a high resistance to industrial sources of electromagnetic noise. The instrument allows vertical or horizontal dipole measurements in manual or automatic modes. The data can be stacked to improve the signal to noise ratio. Backup batteries prevent loss of data from the memory capable of storing results from hundreds of measured lines. Communication software allows transfer of data from the instrument's memory to the user's computer for further processing or presentation using mapping software (e.g. Surfer, Geosoft).

With its built-in PC control & storing unit, its capability of simultaneous measurements of changes in ground conductivity, and buried metal object detection, the CM-031 is the ideal geophysical instrument for groundwater and geotechnical explorations as well as for surveys of contaminated and derelict areas.

FEATURES:

  • portable dipole electromagnetic instrument for contactless measurements of ground conductivity to an effective depth of six meters
  • ideal for environmental, geotechnical and archaeological investigations
  • detection of buried metal objects
  • simultaneous measurements of two parameters - apparent conductivity (mS/m) and inphase quantity (relative units)
  • measured values are continuously displayed on the graphic screen
  • high tolerance of industrial sources of electromagnetic noise
  • user-friendly operation, automatic storage of the data from hundreds of measured profiles, data transfer to a PC for further processing
  • controlled by built-in HP palmtop

CM-032 Conductivity Meter

The CM-032 conductivity meter is a smaller version of the CM-031. With its shorter length and lighter weight the CM-032 is more flexible for the measurements, where the depth range till 3 m is sufficient.

The CM-032 is a dipole electromagnetic instrument designed for fast and accurate geophysical survey. The two parameters are measured simultaneously - the apparent conductivity (mS/m) for measuring of changes in ground conductivity, and the in-phase component of the vertical magnetic field, which permits the detection of buried metal objects.

Both measured values are continuously displayed on the graphic screen during the measurement and saved in the internal memory of the built-in PC unit. The digital design of the instrument provides a high resistance to industrial sources of electromagnetic noise.

The instrument allows vertical or horizontal dipole measurements in manual or automatic modes. The data can be stacked to improve the signal to noise ratio. Backup batteries prevent loss of data from the memory capable of storing results from hundreds of measured profiles.

Communication software allows transfer of data from the instrument's memory to the user's computer for further processing or presentation using mapping software (e.g. Surfer, Geosoft).

The CM-032, capable of both measurements of changes in ground conductivity and buried metal object detection, is the ideal geophysical instrument for fast, accurate site surveys of contaminated and derelict areas as well as for geotechnical and archaeological purposes.

CM-138 Conductivity Meter

The CM-138 Conductivity Meter is designed for fast shallow geophysical survey in archaeology, environmental protection and technical applications like foundation of buildings, construction of roads and pipelines.

The conductivity measurement is based on the method of the dipole electromagnetic profiling. Two parameters are measured simultaneously - the apparent conductivity of ground calibrated in mS/m and the relative inphase quantity suitable for metal objects detection.

The CM-138 is equipped with small built in control PC unit for easy operation and comfortable measurement checking on the graphic screen. A large (and expandable) data memory allows storing of files from many localities. The digital electronics provides a high tolerance to electromagnetic noise from industry, transmitters or networks. No range switching and circuitry trimming by a user are required. The instrument allows both vertical and horizontal dipole measurements in manual or automatic mode with the possibility of stacking. The communication software from the instrument accessories provides the data transfer to the user's PC for the construction of maps and profile curves.

The CM-138 represents an effective geophysical measuring tool for a variety of field tasks where flexibility, reliability and low cost operation are appreciated.
