GSSI is the manufacturer of the world's finest Ground Penetrating Radar Systems (GPR), also referred to as Subsurface Interface Radar (SIRŪ) Systems. These systems are used to non-destructively explore the subsurface of the ground or other man-made materials for a variety of applications.

GPR systems are used by Geologists, Geophysicists, Engineers, Environmental Engineers, Highway Engineers, Mining Engineers, Archaeologists and Forensic experts to solve complex problems related to their specialities. In the fields of civil engineering, construction, geology, hydrogeology, archaeology and environmental protection, what you can't see often causes huge problems

Ground penetrating radar is used in the following fields:

  • Environmental - Site Assessments, Landfills, USTs and Drums, Pre-Construction Surveys
  • Geotechnical and Mining - Bedrock, Watertables, Fractures
  • Archaeological and Law Enforcement
  • Structural Engineering - Void, Structures, Other Engineering Applications
  • Transportation Engineering - New Bridge Deck Quality Assurance, Existing Bridge Deck Condition Inspection, Road Structure Thickness Inspection
  • Utility Mapping & Detection
